Network
Deployed at the beginning of the 90s, The National telecommunications network for Technology Education and Research, RENATER, provides a national and international connectivity via the HUGE European network for more than 1 300 establishments of education research in metropolitan France and overseas departments and territories.
The RENATER network is «the network partner «for Research and Education. It facilitates the collaborative work of the French researchers and teachers with their counterparts from all around the world (transfers and acquisitions of data, videoconferencing, grid computing, etc.).
