M6Bone


The M6Bone is a worldwide IPv6 multicast network. The M6Bone project started in 2001 with support of RENATER, Aristote association and the G6. The M6Bone aims at providing an IPv6 multicast connectivity for people willing to test and develop software and hardware related to IPv6 multicast technology. The M6Bone makes it possible to validate protocols and give recommendations for their standardization.
